Monkey Magic – half of the original Zenmasters crew along with Mr King. Heading nights from the groundbreaking (and log long running) Sunday sessions ‘ a place beyond bass’, through the manic ‘planet’ and ‘Rinzai’ nights, to the most recent ‘Dervish’ encounters, all in loverly Leicester. Mr Magic has over the years Dj’d all round the country, under the title ‘Zenmasters’ with Mrs King (usually on 4 decks). Most notably over the last 2 years, the visits to ‘Keep it Unreal’ with Mistress Scruff, ‘Phonic Hoop’ in sunny Brighton and of course at ‘Off Centre’ where the two have been residents since October 1999 (after being introduced by Mr Scruff as ‘"the best new dj’s in years".

The music escaping from his/their brains & hearts is as varied as his/their dj’ing style. Chilled out beautiful, through chip shop and breaky bleaty, to drum & shandy bass and ‘ardcore. And things in between of course.
Suffice to say there are some very nice things indeed to come
